We are looking for undergraduate students/graduate students/postdoc researchers with the engineering and physics background. A theoretical and/or experimental background in optics/photonics is required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy a dynamic environment, and enjoy working with other people. We have an immediate postdoc opening in the field of hybrid photonic integration. Please refer to our recent publication in APL Photonics (https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0159527) about this research area. The ideal candidate should have experiences in semiconductor lasers, chip-scale photonic devices, and/or hybrid photonic integration. Either chip-scale photonic device packaging/testing/characterization or micro/nano fabrication experience is required. The expected pay scale for this position is around $70K/year plus benefits.
